The Essex Country Show is proud to announce the booking of the 'Knights of the Damned' stunt jousting display presented by TV and Film stuntman Justin Pearson. They will offer 2 different breathtaking medieval shows a day full of exciting stunts and horsemanship built up from having performed at major venues throughout Britain and Europe since 1990. www.theknightsofthedamned.co.uk
Back in the Main Arena for 2010 is Paul Lewis with his fantastic birds of prey flying demonstration. Paul will be flying eagles, a vulture, hawks, owls and falcons over the weekend. www.plfalconry.co.uk
Also back in the Main Arena for 2010 are the Royal British Legion Band & Corps of Drums. Their first appearance in 2008 attracted much interest and we are pleased to have the band confirmed once again for this year. www.royalbritishlegionbandromford.co.uk
The Essex Country Show gained a 'Highly Commended' honour in the 'Best Festival or Event' catergory at the Essex Tourism Awards 2009.

Travelling by bus?
Saturday: First Group operate the 100 service from Chelmsford to Lakeside and vice versa (via Billericay, Noak Bridge, Basildon & Grays) leaving both bus stations at 00, 20 & 40 minutes past the hour. The bus leaves Billericay Railway Station at 11, 31 & 51 minutes past the hour and Basildon Bus Station at 17, 37 & 57 minutes past the hour. The Barleylands bus stop is 250m from the main entrance on Barleylands Road. Please note: this service does NOT run on Sundays.
Saturday: NIBS Buses operate the 222 service from Wickford Wick to Billericay Railway Station (and vice versa) leaving Wickford at 17 mins past the hour and Billericay 52 mins past the hour, running every hour.
The Barleylands Farm Shop bus stop is 100m from the Wickford entrance to the Show.
Sunday: NIBS Buses operate the 251 service from Southend Travel Centre to Warley (and vice versa). This service leaves Wickford Broadway at 9.55 & 11.55, and, Billericay Railway Station at 11.09 & 13.09.
The Barleylands Farm Shop bus stop is 100m from the Wickford entrance to the Show.

A cash machine is available for your use in the Craft Village, cost per withdrawl is £1.20.
Mobility Scooter Hire
Available inside the main Barleylands Road entrance.
It is advisable you book in advance.

Camping & Caravanning
Two campsites are available for overnight stays. One is situated off Barleylands Road adjacent to Barleylands Recycling Centre and the second is off Southend Road behind Barleylands Farm Shop. The site off Barleylands Road is the quieter. Please be aware no power hook-ups or showers are available on either site. The cost per tent or caravan is £8.00 per night.
